School Bus Runs off Seneca Creek Road

            East Seneca Fire Company responded to a West Seneca School Bus off the roadway in the 1400 block of Seneca Creek Road. The bus transporting students home from school, left the roadway after the busses driver apparently suffered a medical ailment, loosing control of the vehicle and coming to rest in a snow bank.

            Union Fire Company, returning from an earlier EMS call, was summoned mutual aid to East Seneca when discovered the bus was full of students. In all, 31-students, none of which were injured, were evaluated on scene, transferred to another West Seneca bus and taken home.

            East Seneca released Union Fire Company personnel after units from Rural Metro Medical Services and S.M.A.R.T. Team arrived on location to assist with evaluation of the students. The driver was taken by Rural Metro to Veterans Administration Hospital for evaluation.
